The United Brotherhood of Carpenters has been in Tampa since 1890. We have a long tradition of supplying skilled craftsman for local contractors. Local 140 prides itself on the quality and productivity of it's members. We have a state of the art training facility found nowhere else in the Gulf Coast area and are constantly training apprentices and journeymen in the latest techinques and skills required in todays construction industry. Local 140 members perform work in the commercial and industrial sectors working on projects ranging from power generation to commercial retail. Our members are skilled at concrete form work, scaffolding, interior systems, and trim and millwork installation. We proudly claim:
