Carpenters Local 140 is based in Tampa, FL. It covers the following counties. Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando, Sarasota, Manatee, Polk, Hardee, De Soto, and Highlands. Our members perform work in the phosphate industry, the power generation industry, and commercial construction. Our members are skilled in layout, concrete formwork, metal stud and drywall, mill work, trim, scaffolding, acoustical ceilings, and flooring. The United Brotherhood of Carpenters has been servicing the Tampa Bay area since 1890. We have a long tradition of providing highly skilled professional carpenters that meet the needs that any contractor may have.
